Other Remarks:

This is the only gashapon set I "tikam" myself. I actually got this anxiously in Sapporo, at the Bic Camera shopping mall near the train station. I spent around 2000 ¥ which cost more than what I can get back home. But it's the experience that I cherished. Anyway Yujin has came out like 3 to 4 series of gashapon figurines for Nightmare, this is a perfect edition in which they mix and match the best pieces from the previous series, plus additional diorama scenario. Just like a "Thunderbirds" series before this.

Jack Skellington

Nice base but Jack is way too skinny and doesn't stand too well, I have to apply superglue to attach it firmly to the tombstone behind.

Zero

Jack's dog, both can connect to form a full diorama. Nothing outstanding about this piece.

Frankenstein Hokase (Dr.)

The wheelchair is unstable, thus Dr. Frank tends to fall off it and what's worse the skullcap and brain are very small pieces and tend to go missing.

Brain revealed

Sally

Sally can't stand at all even with the base, I have to stick her firmly to with blue tac. The additional arms are meant to hold the handle of the wheelchair but they can't grip at all. Lastly the arms fall off easily.

Sally serving Doc

Lock & Barrel

I think the series are saved by the inclusion of Lock and Barrel (plus Shock and Bathtub) I like the little masks included but they couldn't hold onto their faces.

Masks on!

Shock & Bathtub

Shock's mask can hold the best while I like the dirt and rust on bathtub, the legs are great too!

In the tub

The entire gang

Woogie Boogie

Heaviest of the lot. The paintwork is simple but nice. Woogie Boogie stand stably as well.

Final Rating:

My actual rating for this series is 2 1/2 stars. I think Yujin tried their best with the sculpture and paintwork to give the gothic feeling of this Tim Burton's classic. I really like the movie (despite haven't watch it complete yet), which is why when I saw the preview I was dead on to get it. However the final product is a bit disappointing due to the unstable pieces especially Jack, Sally and Dr. Frankenstein. I would give a 3 star if not for spending way too much to get one complete set.
